Cecilia Borurguet My deepest condolence December 10, 2015
My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Tom Garland Sincerest Sympathy November 3, 2015

Dear Jim,

I am sorry about your loss.  I hope you, Monica and your family are doing well in spite of your loss.  Based on the photographs and the condolences, your father seemed like a good person.  If the son is any reflection of the man, then I know your father was a great person.  I surely miss seeing you and Monica when visiting upstate New York.  Spending personal time with your family made an otherwise routine trip something special.  Again, I’m sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Tom

Pastor Adam Wiegand May God Comfort You! November 2, 2015
Dear Fredell Family--

Though I never knew Jim the elder, I have come to both know and love Jim the younger, and his wife, Monica, during their time at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Saratoga Springs. If it's true that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" I should say that I truly regret that my home is so far from Peoria, as I believe I would have been blessed to know Jim the elder in this life. This is why I am glad that God has made provision for me to come to know him in the life to come -- and if that is indeed a possibility there, I'll make a point of doing so.

Meanwhile, I am praying that God would bring a deep comfort to all of you who are mourning, that He would dry your tears, call to your minds the lovely and joyful things that made Jim dear to you, and turn your eyes forward to the glorious future we have together -- the gift of a vibrant, peaceful, healthy, happy, eternal life with all the saints and angels in the presence of Jesus, who died and rose that we might have life, to the fullest, forever.

With warmest and kindest regards,
+ Pastor Adam Wiegand

Beryl & family:

We were very sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was such a good guy and we enjoyed chatting with him at the RiverPlex and talking Cardinal baseball. He will be missed by many. Frown
